Both Clemson and South Carolina have baseball recruiting classes that are ranked in the nation’s Top Ten according to Collegiate Baseball. Clemson’s 19-player baseball recruiting class was ranked #5 in the nation, and the highest in the ACC. All 19 Tigers are already on campus and have been going through fall workouts in preparation for the 2013 season-opener against William & Mary on February 15.  South Carolina baseball’s recruiting class has been ranked No. 10. This year’s class features 15 newcomers. The class includes Cal Ripken, Jr.’s son Kyle, a first baseman from the Gilman School in Baltimore.
