Touting SC Work Ready Communities

A long-standing member of Oconee’s industrial community believes that while the county is being progressive in developing industrial parks to attract employers, the quest for new jobs and a stronger economic base can’t be realized without properly-trained employees. And, as a supporter of South Carolina Work Ready Communities, Peter LeRoy, helps to raise awareness and build support for counties’ efforts to link education and work force development to align with the needs of the emerging global community. LeRoy is the majority stock owner of Dyanmic Fluid Components on highway 28, south of West Union. LeRoy is one of the first to say that while an academic pursuit in college has its place, there’s still a place for the individual who makes things.
