A 43-year old Oconeean was found late last night, crushed beneath a tractor near Westminster. Coroner Karl Addis says family members found Terry Ray Land of the Rufus Lane Road under a Zetor 3320 tractor that the 43-year old Land appeared to have been driving toward his home. The tractor, which had no rollover protection bar, went down a grade and rolled onto its top. According to Addis, Land may have taken a round bale of hay to a horse pasture. His loved ones went looking when they discovered Land was not at home. 9-1-1 was activated shortly before 11 o’clock. Addis says he believes the accident occurred between 7 and 8:30.
