Traffic backup on U-S 76

 An accident on U-S 76 in the vicinity of the bridge over the Chattooga River left traffic backed up both ways. The accident is being investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.  96.3/WGOG NEWS was told that two cars were involved in the accident and one person was sent to the hospital.
