Transportation help for outage workers

A deal with Seneca would help Duke Energy accommodate traffic from thousands of contract workers who are due in the area the next two months for a scheduled major outage at the Oconee Nuclear Station. At City Hall last night, Seneca Administrator Greg Dietterick announced that the city and Duke are negotiating a deal in which some of 4,500 contract workers could park in downtown Seneca and then ride shuttle buses to the nuclear plant work site.
