Tree-planting called off

December 9, 2013

Not only has the wet weather been a bane for local and area Christmas parades, it has taken a toll on other outdoor activities. Including Westminster’s annual part in Arbor Day USA. City Administrator David Smith says, over 5 to 6 years, a variety trees has been planted—such as apple and dogwood. Only one of the plantings has failed to survive. So, this time one of the new trees will be planted to replace a tree that died at the Orchard Park school.
