Trustees settle on library spot

May 21, 2013

A location near a busy Seneca intersection is the Oconee Library Board of Trustees’ preferred choice to build a new city library. The Anderson Independent-Mail quotes board chairman Danny Day as saying a pitch is to be made for property at 123 and 130—across from a new Hampton Inn and Suites. And Day says the trustees will present that choice to tomorrow morning’s meeting of the county Capital Projects Advisory Board.
