Trustees want the flag removed
The trustees at Clemson University are the latest to call for the removal of the Confederate battle flag from the State House grounds. At a meeting today, they passed a resolution calling for the removal. The Clemson Board of Trustees in 1999 passed a similar resolution. Today’s action follows a vigil at the university that attracted hundreds of people who came in memory of the Charleston church shooting victims.
