Two arrests from fight near Seneca

A baseball bat and kicks to the body are reported by Oconee Sheriff’s Office to be responsible for the injuries yesterday to a man in the Crossroads Community near Seneca. The man injured, identified as a Hartwell, Georgia resident, was air-lifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital to be treated. The Sheriffs’ Office today announced the arrests of two people. Mikol Andrew Engel, 36, of Ranger Drive was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature; a 16-year old was sent to the Juvenile Justice facility.
