Two charged with Walhalla store burglary

The police in Walhalla say their investigation of a stolen car Halloween Night resulted in charges against two men for a separate crime—committed in September.  Capt. Paul Harris says Taylors resident Brandon Edward Pyles was the first to be arrested and charged with burglary second degree at the Corner Stop convenience store on W. Main Street, followed by Thursday night’s arrest of Seneca resident Israel Tamahjea Glenn.  Cigarettes were stolen at the convenience store during the early morning hours of September 2.Harris described video surveillance as an important element in his department’s ability to bring charges against Pyles and Glenn.
