Two criminal charges filed

A 25-year old Seneca man was jailed Saturday in the Sheriff’s Office investigation of a shooting off the Shiloh Road. Arrest reports list Jonathan Cole Bryson of Willow Creek Circle charged with assault and battery first degree and domestic violence second degree. A 19-year old Fair Play man has been identified as the victim of gun shot to the leg. It’s a wound that deputies say was inflicted by a gun that the arrested man took from the pocket of the victim. The two had met Saturday morning near 526 Shiloh Road at the railroad tracks for the purpose of exchanging property. Law enforcement reports show Bryson charged in a separate incident the day before in which a woman, identified as his former girlfriend, was hurt.
