Two deputies graduate
Two Oconee deputies graduated last week from the basic law enforcement program of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Graduates Scott Spence and David Williams were hired by the Sheriff’s Office September 12. Last Friday they were part of a graduating class that heard remarks by Spence and Williams’ employer, Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw. Crenshaw encouraged the graduates to strive to be exceptional officers.
