Two deputies pick up their diplomas

Jordei Jameson and Colby Mize Oconee County deputy sheriffs Colby Mize and Jordei Jameson are the seventh and eighth graduates of a basic law enforcement program, since Mike Crenshaw became Sheriff in 2013. Mize and Jameson graduated Friday from the basic law enforcement program of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Mize was hired by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office in September of last year. He is a graduate of Walhalla High and an active duty army soldier. That same month last year, Jameson was hired. She is a Daniel High graduate and has an under-graduate degree in criminal justice from Southern Wesleyan University.
