Uncle and nephew fatally shot in Liberty

An uncle and his nephew have been found shot dead in Liberty—a case under investigation by the police in that Pickens County municipality. Coroner Kandy Kelley identified the dead as 42-year old Steven Chapman and his 22-year old nephew, Houston Chapman. The shootings took place Friday afternoon on Liberty’s Forest View Circle—the street where Houston Chapman lived.
