Underwood to sign up this morning

The Walhalla council race will have at least two incumbents.  David Underwood is announcing that he’ll sign as a candidate this morning for re-election.  He released this statement, “ I, David Underwood have decided to put my name in the hat again for city council of Walhalla. As a lot of you know my main focus for running 4 years ago was to obtain a new water source .If you remember my slogan was Walhalla+Water=Future as a council we did accomplish this and now have a site on Lake Keowee after many years of trying to obtain a site. There is still work to be done for our water system and while I do not want to be a career politician I WOULD LIKE TO FINISH THE JOB. to help secure the City of Walhalla future.”
