Unemployment Drops in SC

South Carolina’s unemployment rate is down this month, by ½ point.  Since September, South Carolina’s number of unemployed dropped by more than 10,500.  According to Palmetto Workforce Connections, South Carolina’s current unemployment rate is 9.1 percent.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics says Forty-one states and the District of Columbia recorded unemployment rate decreases, six states posted rate increases, and three states had no change.
