UPDATE: Pickup strikes home

A pickup went out of control struck a Walhalla home, a trash can, and wound up on top of a concrete retaining wall that separates the house from a neighboring home. No one was hurt, but the police say the damage estimate at 13 Ballenger Street is $9,500. Chief Ronald Wilbanks says a blue Ford 150 wound up on top of the wall and its driver was nowhere to be found. According to Wilbanks, the police are confident they know who was driving the vehicle.
