UPDATE: Seneca homicide victim was Washington State man

Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis says the victim of a Thursday morning homicide in Seneca was a Washington State man. Addis says 32 year-old Scott Andrew Johnston, of Pullman, Washington, died from gunshot injuries sustained in the apparent home invasion which occurred Thursday morning at 24 Ames Street in the Utica Mill Village. Officials say Johnston was staying at the residence with a female friend who is also from Washington State and is in the Upstate furthering her education at Clemson University. Addis says an autopsy will be conducted Friday morning.
