Upper section of South Carolina 130 to be repaved

Part of a South Carolina mountain highway will receive new coasts of asphalt paving, in a contract issued by the Department of Transportation. Josh Makison, resident construction engineer, says the job of repaving five miles of South Carolina 130 south from the North Carolina line goes to King Asphalt of Liberty. The contractor has promised to complete the job for $2.8 million dollars. Makison says he expects the work to begin in March.
