Upwards of 600 to graduate by the weekend!

A total of 677 Oconee public school students are approaching what, for them, is apt to be a memorable weekend. They make up the county’s 2015 graduating class. Of that number, 635 will line up for high school diplomas from the four high schools. At 216, Walhalla’s is the largest class in the county, with Seneca second at 195. West-Oak is counting 186 graduates. Tamassee-Salem’s number is 38. Tonight 42 students are to be graduated from the Adult Education Program. Thirty-five receive the GED and seven get diplomas.
