Utilities office has new home

The office of the Seneca utilities superintendent has re-located to the city’s Lowery building on N. 2nd Street—a block behind City Hall.  Bob Faires’ office is now in the building that serves as the headquarters for the Light and water crews.  But the basement of City Hall and the adjoining drive-thru are still the places for utility customers who pay their bills in person.  The remodeling of the approximate 25-year old Lowery building is part of a $1 million dollar project to centralize and modernize city utility facilities.  Recently, the city council allocated $450 thousand dollars to complete the work.
