Utility trailer stolen

A new and enclosed metal utility trailer was stolen late last month in Oconee County. The Sheriff’s Office hopes the public will spot the stolen trailer which is 6’ by 12’, single axle, black in color with a straight hitch. Forest River manufactured the trailer and the company’s sticker is displayed on the side, along with a sticker marked “Sunshine.” The trailer is worth $2,100. The crime occurred April 26 at Trail Rite Sales on U-S 123. Deputies determined that a section of property fence was breached to gain access to the lot. Information on the trailer has been entered in the database of the National Crime Information Center. Meantime, if you can supply information on the crime, contact Crime Stoppers at 638-STOP.
