Vandals on the Loose

The Oconee County Sheriff’s department is seeking help in solving vandalism cases in the the area.  The sheriff’s department says between March 4th and 29th a number of vandalism incidents were reported in the area of Bountyland Road and Poplar Springs Road, near the Foothills community church.  Reports of damages to yards, homes and vehicles were reported in the area.  In an isolated case on Poplar Springs Road, a report that a windows was broken out of a truck using marbles. Investigators with the sheriff’s department believe a small compact pickup truck with all terrain mud tires may be involved in some of the incidents.  Anyone with information is asked to call crimestoppers at 864-638-STOP or 1-888-CRIME-SC or text 274637.  You can remain anonymous when reporting information and you may be eligible for up to a $2000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
