Volunteers flock to Lake Jocassee

On a windy, chilly morning volunteers filled 47 bags with trash found in Oconee County’s Lake Jocassee. Brooks Wade, who helped coordinate the effort, said it was an impressive load of debris—including a 15-gallon garbage can, a five gallon bucket, a car bumper, a pontoon boat door, a piece of guardrail and a table.
