Deputy’s suspicion pays off

The suspicions of an Oconee deputy sheriff paid off in the early morning hours Saturday with the capture of three suspected thieves. At 1:40 Saturday morning, Deputy Clay Sheriff saw a vehicle circle through the parking lot of Tri-Star Imports, Wells Highway. The deputy stopped the car nearby. The investigation that followed resulted in the discovery of damage to a soft drink machine in front of Tri-Star Imports, the confiscation of a bolt cutter, lock punch, hammer and a pry bar, and the arrests of the three young men in the car. Authorities have announced multiple charges against Arnie Endicott Jr. of Inman and Trevor Hobbie Turner and Timothy Brian Turner, both of whom share a Foxwood Hills address.
