Something will be done about ISIS, says Duncan

Congress will do something to try to stop the growing threat of ISIS in the Middle East, but South Carolina’s Third District representative predicts it will be short of a declaration of war. At the Seneca Rotary Club today, Congressman Jeff Duncan said there will be an agreement to authorize a military force, but it likely won’t be everything President Obama has requested. Terrorism was just one of many topics for which Duncan invited questions as he finished a talk that touched on spending, immigration, education, and national security. The third term representative acknowledged a frustrated public. Some of the Rotarians questions reflected concern over the financial health of Social Security and increasing anti-American attitudes in both Central and South America.
