Backseat passenger fatal victim

A traffic accident last night near Walhalla took the life of a backseat passenger. Coroner Karl Addis this morning identified the fatality as Timothy Mark Hoover. The 28-year old Seneca man was riding in a 2007 Chevy Avalanche that hit a tree and overturned. Two other people were taken from the scene to the Greenville Memorial Hospital. Last night’s accident at 7:40 occurred on South Carolina 183/the Pickens Highway—three miles north of the Walhalla city limit.
