Piped sewer planned for lake home project

For a rare occasion, developers of a Lake Keowee home development plan to install piped sewer in place of the traditional septic tanks. The development is planned in the vicinity of South Cove Road near Seneca. And it’s a pleasing prospect to “FOLKS”—Friends of Lake Keowee. The organization strives to ensure that the lake, created as part of Duke Energy’s power projects in Oconee County, remains safe and beautiful for everyone.
