Wal-Mart shoplifting investigations

An Anderson woman has been arrested by Oconee law enforcement authorities.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, Shellie Renee Putnam is charged in four shoplifting warrants.  The crimes occurred last summer at the Seneca Wal-Mart.  Authorities also announced they request the public’s help to locate a Belton man who is charged in three of the cases.  He is identified as Roger Vernon Vaughn, Jr., 39, of O’Neil Street in Belton.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, if you know Vaughn’s whereabouts you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1/888-CRIME-SC or 864/638-STOP.  You don’t have to give your name and if your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
