Walhalla Depot to be closed four weeks

April 9, 2013

Walhalla’s frequently-used community depot building will close soon for a four-week period, as a contractor embarks on $45 thousand worth of renovations—including new light fixtures, new floor coverings and paint jobs inside and out. According to city administrator Nancy Goehle, J-Davis Construction plans to start work late this week or by Monday. The repair project will force the Rotary Club to a temporary meeting location. Club members will hold their next four meetings at the Salvation Army offices on John Street.
