Walhalla man arrested in Westminster

The police in Westminster say an anonymous tip led them to make a traffic stop this week and arrest a Walhalla man who, the police say, was wanted on multiple charges.  Law enforcement reports identify the man arrested as Kevin Daniel Kelly, passenger in an SUV that was stopped during the noon hour Tuesday on Westminster’s Norris Street.  The Oconee Detention Center booking report lists nine charges against the 30-year old Kelly, including burglary first degree and petty larceny.  The police say they confiscated from the area of the passenger front seat a sawed-off shotgun and three fixed-blade knives.
