Changing Walhalla’s gun laws and moving the city’s Farmers Market to Main Street are agenda items for next week’s city council meeting. The council is to consider an ordinance prohibiting anyone convicted of a crime from carrying anything around town that could be misconstrued as a weapon. The council is to act on a lease agreement to relocate the Farmers Market from S. Katherine Street to 301 E. Main Street. The city also plans changes in the city’s tobacco policy covering city workers. Council meets 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
