Walhalla offers incentives to restaurant

If it will locate inside Walhalla, a restaurant chain may take advantage of incentives approved this week by the city council.  Surveyors have been seen on SC 28 property near Super Service, and fronting that 28 property is believed to be where arrangements are being made to locate a Bojangles.  Incentives approved by a vote during Tuesday’s council meeting are based on Bojangles’ willingness to be annexed into the corporate limits.  First-year incentives include no business license requirement and the property owner will be re-imbursed 100% of real property city taxes paid to Oconee County.
