Walhalla OK sought for trail plan

 

At a meeting this evening, Partners for Progress intends to ask for Walhalla City Council approval on the specifics for the plan to extend the Palmetto Trail through the corporate limits, with a new trail terminus on the grounds of the Depot.  Dan Pollock, the president of Partners, says he will seek the approval once the plan’s designer finishes his presentation during the 5:30 committee meetings of the city council.  Last night Natalie Britt, the executive director of the Palmetto Conservation Foundation, spoke to the April meeting of PFP.  And Pollock says the group “a great update on all things Palmetto Trail and Stumphouse Trail plan….”
