Walhalla parade as usual this year

Although part of Walhalla’s Main Street remains a construction zone, the city’s annual Christmas Parade will proceed down Main as usual this year.  The date and time for this year’s parade:  Saturday, December 5 at 5 o’clock.  One hour after this year’s parade, the 4th annual Luminary Tour of Churches, sponsored by the chamber of commerce, will take place.  Five churches will open their doors between 6 and 8 p-m.  The churches on this year’s tour are College Street Baptist Church, Faith Center Church, St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Luke United Methodist Church, and Walhalla Presbyterian Church, along with Old St. John’s Meeting House.  At Old St. John’s, the high school ensemble will play Christmas songs.
