Walhalla parade “is a go”

Vanessa Penton of the Greater Walhalla Area Chamber of Commerce said this afternoon that tomorrow’s parade “is a go.”  The chamber’s executive director expressed confidence that, by the 5 o’clock parade time tomorrow, the conditions will be OK.  She does anticipate drizzle at parade time, so parade spectators and participants should dress accordingly.  The parade is to be followed by a luminary tour of churches from 6 to 8 p-m.  Should the weather develop in a way that will spoil the festivities, Penton said a cancellation decision will be made by noon tomorrow.  And, if such a decision is made, we’ll post it here on wgog.com’s news link.
