Walhalla students qualified for history contest

Ten Walhalla High students qualified for the South Carolina National History Day contest April 23 at Westwood High School in Blythewood.  The qualifying Walhalla students created top projects at both their school and the regional level.  National History Day involves students researching primary and secondary sources related to a topic of their choosing, with guidance from the teacher, and developing an exhibit based on the theme “Encounter, Exchange, and Exploration in History.”
