Walhalla women running for council

September 5, 2013

By late this morning, two men and two women made up the field of candidates for Walhalla City Council. The latest filers were incumbent Jennifer Crawford, and challenger Frances Devoe. There’s word that least one more person intends to enter the fray by tomorrow’s noon deadline. Crawford’s intent to seek re-election means that, in the November 5 election, she and her father, Danny Woodward, will be among the candidate field. Woodward is seeking election to fill an unexpired term while Crawford seeks a full, four-year term.
