Walhallan wanted in Anderson arrested

A tip received by Oconee sheriff’s officers led to the arrest of a 36-year old man wanted by law enforcement authorities in Anderson County. The arrest of Matthew Vinson Leopard of Walhalla took place Friday afternoon at a business on N. Radio Station Road near Seneca. The Sheriff’s Office listed the following charges against Vinson: unlawful carrying a pistol and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Jimmy Watt, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office, said Leopard was also issued traffic tickets alleging driving under suspension and simple possession of marijuana.
