Wanted man turns himself in

An early morning arrest Saturday has ended the search by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office for a man who is accused of choking and stabbing his girlfriend near Seneca. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says Calvin Eugene Holland turned himself in and was booked in the Oconee Detention Center around 5 a-m. The 46-year old Holland is accused of attempted murder and the possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime on Washington Street near the Seneca city limit.
