Washington squabble puts Duncan visit at risk

The partisan discord in the nation’s capital between Democrats and Republicans over Obamacare and a potential government shutdown may force Congressman Jeff Duncan to cancel plans next week to make public appearances in Oconee County. Seneca Rotary Club President Lowell Macher today spoke in a tone of resignation that Duncan will have to cancel his scheduled Thursday, September 26 talk to the Rotarians, because of the likelihood on the day that Duncan will have to be in Washington.
