Parts of the Golden Corner of South Carolina could see snow come Thursday evening. WGOGland is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 1:00 PM until midnight Thursday. Forecasters predict up to an inch of snow is possible throughout the mountains of Oconee, Pickens, and Greenville Counties. For the foothills, no significant accumulation is expected, save for snow on grassy areas and tree limbs. Heavy rainfall on Thursday will transition to snow Thursday evening, but skies will clear after midnight. With temperatures overnight dropping below freezing, motorists who plan to travel Thursday night or Friday morning are urged to be cautious. A few slick spots may develop, with areas of black ice possible.
