Westminster carjacking leads to Clemson
An investigation into a Westminster carjacking led to Clemson where the police found a stolen car and apprehended at least one individual. At last report, the police were looking for a second individual. The Oconee Sheriff’s Office started an investigation of a carjacking and the theft of a purse at Hobson Street and Cornelia Avenue. Later a stolen Mustang was found at a Clemson business near highway 93 and 76. Investigators received word that one subject was taken into custody. Officers were looking for a second suspect, who appeared to be Caucasian and possibly wearing a blue coat and tan pants. The male had short, dark hair and is possibly in his mid-20’s.
