Westminster losing its administrator

Here is the statement from City of Westminster about the decision that Jeff Lord is leaving his job as city administrator:  “Westminster City Administrator, Jeff Lord, will be moving on to take the Town Administrator position for the Town of Moncks Corner. Mr. Lord informed Council at last night’s City Council Meeting. “I have really enjoyed my time with the City of Westminster and I’m really proud of what we have been able to accomplish during my tenure here, but sometimes an opportunity comes that’s the right decision to move on, both professionally and for my family. Moncks Corner is seeing amazing growth and development and we will be moving closer to family.” Mayor Ramey said, “As a new and first time Mayor, I had much to learn in these first 3 months. Mr. Lord has been very generous of his time and knowledge in bringing me up-to date on how our city is run. I greatly appreciate his service to our city and all that he has accomplished. I hope to continue on with the forward progress we have achieved during his time here. I wish him and his family well and I’m confident Monks Corner will see him as an asset. Myself and the council have already begun the process in finding a new administrator and I am confident we will make a smooth transition when the time comes. “ “I will miss everyone with the City that I have had the honor to work with and leave knowing the City remains in good hands”, said Jeff Lord.” Mr. Lord’s last day will be May 27th, 2016.
