Whitmire to vote for no-texting

December 14, 2012

At least one member of Oconee’s state delegation says he will vote in favor of a bill that would make texting-while-driving illegal statewide. Oconee County Council was told this morning that such a bill will be introduced in the General Assembly and Bill Whitmire, the District One representative, declared he will vote for it.
