Who had this year’s best tornado poster?

Adrianna Lione all of the winners from the contest Adrianna Lione’s winner poster is practically as tall as she is. The second grader at Walhalla Elementary received a cash award of $45 dollars and a weather alert radio for her poster judged the best of those submitted in the annual tornado safety poster contest. That contest is sponsored by Oconee Emergency Services to draw attention to the destruction and death that tornadoes cause. Adrianna’s winning entry, as well as the winners from individual Oconee elementary, intermediate and middle schools  are on display in the County Administrative Building until the middle of next month.
