Who’ll pay for the copper?

“We have insurance. It would be covered by that.” That’s the answer given by Dr. Michael Thorsland, assistant superintendent for Oconee public schools, to the question of who will pay for the loss of some $50 thousand dollars worth of copper stolen last week from the Walhalla High construction site. The theft remains an open investigation by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office.
