Why does the lake level fluctuate?

A Duke Energy official credited with making complicated information easily understand will address a public forum next week at the World of Energy.  “FOLKS”—Friends of Lake Keowee—invites the public for George Galleher’s presentation at 6:30 Thursday night, February 25.  For Duke, Galleher is responsible for power generation hydro operations and compliance.  The forum is titled, “Pumped Storage 101” and “FOLKS” expects Galleher to explain why, at times, the lake levels vary from high to low.  Everyone is invited for light refreshments at 6 o’clock, 30 minutes before the presentation.
