Will OC students PASS?

Nearly five thousand Oconee public school students are clearing their desks today for the PASS test. The Palmetto Assessment of State Standards is a test for grades 3-8. Dr. Mike Lucas, county superintendent, says, “I know our teachers have worked hard to prepare students in Grades 3-8, and I wish our students the best of luck as they complete the test items and navigate the testing protocols.” Roughly, 350 thousand students across the state are taking today’s tests. This is also the week for Advanced Placement Exams for juniors and seniors. The A-P is scored on a scale of 1-5, and high school students receiving a 3 or higher generally get college credit.
