Winter storm UPDATE from SCDOT

A winter storm predicted to impact South Carolina today has put in motion state DOT forces to pre-treat major routes. The DOT intends, if needed, to move equipment and personnel throughout the state where the need is critical. Crews are to work round the clock on 12 hour rotating shifts. In District Three, which takes in Oconee, Pickens, Greenville and Spartanburg, plows and loaded materials are at the ready for whatever and where. Routes are to be cleared in the following priorities: interstates, U-S and S-C designated routes, and then secondary roads.
